I'm not sure why, but the consensus seems to be that this has been an awful year. It has been a year of major growth and transition for most. While some people I have met and talked with say it has been the greatest year of their life, the majority say that this year has been the most difficult and challenging year of their lives. I would agree with the latter. It has been a very disappointing year for me, but while I have lost and let go of so much this year, I have created so much space and openness for all the good that is to come in the New Year. I welcome it with open arms and am ready to open up and give back. I'm incredibly excited for my new venture and look forward to helping and healing with you all.

Breathe it all in, Love it all out
This year has been a time of facing some dark demons and truly understanding the importance of destroying the old to make room for the new. Kali - Goddess of Destruction. She destroys illusions. Yes, I have destroyed so many illusions to uncover truth and let me tell you, the truth is not always so beautiful. But it's real and I would rather have an ugly truth than a beautiful lie any day.
As much as we want to hold on to things that have served us in the past, we know in our hearts that they will not serve us in the future. And it is only when we truly release and let go of the old that the new and better arrives. It has happened to me over and over and over again this year so I do not doubt it's truth. And as let this entire year go, even before it ends on the calendar, I welcome the new with open arms. I am here. I am ready. Thank you.

The Only Constant is Change
You reach a point where it becomes more painful to remain a closed bud than to open up and blossom.
I don't remember the exact quote or who said it, but I heard something like that somewhere at some point before and it is really resonating with me today. Personally, I thrive on change. I get bored easily and constantly need something new to make me feel alive and excited about being here. But of course, with all change comes that bit of fear and self doubt. Can I do it? Will it be worth it? I've learned to move past those questions. The better questions to ask are How bad do I want it? and Am I ready for it?
Sometimes you just have to take the leap, even if it is just on a mental or spiritual level. The Universe has your back and will not let you fail. There are no failures, only lessons. So breathe, trust, let go, and jump!
